We are writing to you regarding the Onco- Radiology Course which will take place from June 16th to July 23rd on the Teachers Portal of the CIR's Department of Electronical Education , www.radiologiavirtual.org.

¡This important course will begin in one week! |
Traditional Image Diagnosis Methods are based on the observation of morphological changes and the signal that the disease produces (ionizing radiation, ultrasonic and radio frequency). The result is structural-high resolution information about different body regions.
In the 90s, the denomination Molecular Image began to be applied to the image diagnosis methods that explore functional and biochemical processes at a cellular level with the purpose of applying them to diagnosis and therapy. At the clinic, nuclear medicine and radiology work together managing the hybrid equipment of PET-TAC, SPECT-TAC, PET-MRI, MRI, Spectroscopic, etc. in order to make their implementation in daily practice possible.
As radiologists we need to attend to courses on molecular images, since these are on the cutting edge on early diagnosis, risk stratification, prognosis and monitoring of innumerable biological processes related to the disease. And one of its most important fields of application is onco-radiology.
Therefore, the CIR and its Department of Electronic Education welcomes you to this new virtual event. We specially thank Dr. Juan Mazzucco for the coordination of this event. evento virtual, agradecendo muito especialmente ao Dr. Juan Mazzuco pela Coordenaçäo do mesmo.
